The Christmas season is one filled with noise and cheer, busyness and an emphasis on families and presents.So often, this is overwhelming, and makes us feel like we shouldn't feel sad, lonely, tired, or grieving. It may be hardto attend church and sing carols, or join in other holiday activities. Sometimes we need a quiet centre, a place where it is safe to just sit and be still, cry or grieve, pray or meditate, remember and be renewed. This year, we will be opening up our sanctuary as a Quiet Centre during the season leading to Christmas. You are invited to stop in for a quiet place, a chance to pray or rest, a conversation with Emily or Don, or a chance to light a candle in memory of someone who is gone. You are welcome to come for a few minutes or a few hours, once or as many times as renews you.
